Key Details of the PM YASASVI Scheme 2024:
Purpose: The scheme, launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, aims to support economically disadvantaged students in their educational pursuits.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of India.
- Categories: Open to students from OBC, EBC, DNT SAR/NT/SNT categories.
- Academic Requirement: Must have completed the 8th grade and be preparing for 10th grade exams in 2023.
- Parental Income: The annual income of parents should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.
- Age: Applicants for 9th grade must be born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008. Applicants for 11th grade must be born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008.
