PM Yashasvi Scholarship scheme 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started accepting applications for the 2024 scholarship entrance exam. Eligible students are encouraged to apply for the PM Yashasvi Scholarship program through the NTA’s official website. This scholarship, created by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, is for students from OBC, Nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes, and Denotified Tribes (DNT).

The PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for a Vibrant India (YASASVI) offers scholarships to students in 9th and 11th grade. Only Indian students from specific states or union territories can apply. To get the scholarship, students must take the YASASVI Entrance Test 2024.

Students from Economically Backward Classes (EBC) and Denotified Tribes (DNT) can apply for the Top-Class School Education and Top-Class College Education scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal. These scholarships help students continue their education beyond the secondary level.

The PM YASASVI Scholarship aims to support underprivileged students, ensuring equal access to education and promoting a better future for India’s youth. This scholarship is awarded based on merit without requiring an entrance exam. Students in classes 9 to 12 can receive financial aid, with those in classes 9 and 10 getting Rs 75,000, and those in classes 11 and 12 receiving Rs 1.5 lakh.

PM YASASVI Scheme 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Must be a permanent resident of India.
Must belong to OBC, EBC, or DNT categories.
Must have completed 8th grade and be preparing to take the 10th-grade exams in 2023.
Parents’ annual income must not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.
Students applying for 9th grade must be born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008.
Students applying for 11th grade must also be born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008.
All genders are eligible to apply.

Class 8 or Class 10 passing certificate.
Income certificate.
Identification card.
Email address and phone number.
Certificates for OBC, EBC, or DNT categories.

How to Apply for PM YASASVI 2024 Scheme

Visit the official website: yet.nta.ac.in.
Click the Register button to go to the Candidate Registration Page.
Enter your name, email ID, date of birth, and create a password. Note down the system-generated Application Number.
After enrolling, you can apply for the scholarship programs.
Sign in and go to the YASASVI test registration page.
Fill in the required information and upload the necessary documents.
Print your PM YASASVI Scholarship Registration Form 2024.
