CBSE Class 12 Board Result 2024 is on Umang App

CBSE 12th Result 2024 is out and available shortly on the Umang mobile app. Students can follow these steps to check their results.

The CBSE has announced the class 12 board results for 2024 today, May 13. This year, 87.98% of students have passed the exams. Once again, girls have performed better than boys, with a pass percentage of around 91.52% for girls and 85.12% for boys. Trivandrum emerged as the top-performing district.

To check their marks, candidates can visit official websites like results.cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, or cbseresults.nic.in. Students will need their roll numbers from their admit cards to access their scores. The results are also available on the UMANG app, Digilocker app, Pariksha Sangam portal, and through the SMS facility.

The class 12 exams started on February 15 and concluded on April 2. To pass the CBSE class 10 and 12 exams, students must score a minimum of 33%. The class 10 results are yet to be announced.

Apart from this, the CBSE Class 12 results will also be accessible through the Umang mobile app, DigiLocker, and the IVRS system.

Several false circulars regarding the CBSE result dates have been circulating on social media. CBSE has clarified that students should only rely on official notices posted on cbse.gov.in.

This year, approximately 39 lakh candidates appeared for CBSE Board Exams for classes 10 and 12 across India. Class 10 exams were conducted from February 15 to March 13, while Class 12 exams took place from February 15 to April 2, 2024. Both exams were held in a single shift, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Students can access their results on the UMANG Mobile Platform, which is compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows smartphones.

CBSE 12th Result 2024 on Umang App: How to Check

Here’s an easy guide to checking your CBSE 12th Results on the UMANG App:

  1. Download UMANG App: Go to the Google Play Store and download the UMANG app or visit umang.gov.in.
  2. Register/Login: If you haven’t registered yet, create a new account. If you already have one, log in using your registered mobile number.
  3. Find CBSE Class 10, 12 Results 2024 Section: After logging in, look for the section specifically for CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results 2024.
  4. Enter Login Details: Provide your roll number, school code, and other necessary information.
  5. Click Download: After entering your details, click on the download option.
  6. Access Your Results: Once done, you’ll see your CBSE Board Results 2024 directly on the app.

In the 2023 CBSE Class 10 and 12 board results, which were announced on May 12, the pass rates were as follows:

  • Class 12 Results:

    • Overall pass rate: 87.33%

These percentages show how many students passed the exams out of the total number who appeared.

CBSE Result 2024: Schedule for Marks Verification Announced

Here is the proposed schedule for marks verification and related processes:

  • Verification of Marks (Duration – 5 days)
    • From: 4th day from the date of declaration of result
    • To: 8th day from the date of declaration of result
  • Obtaining (Scanned) Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book(s) (Duration – 2 days)
    • From: 19th day from the date of declaration of result
    • To: 20th day from the date of declaration of result
  • Re-evaluation of Answer(s) (Duration – 2 days)
    • From: 24th day from the date of declaration of result
    • To: 25th day from the date of declaration of result
