Last year, we expressed our anticipation for Star Wars Outlaws, deeming it potentially Ubisoft’s most promising creation in years. Its expansive scope hinted at an ambitious project, leading to skepticism about its 2024 release. However, Ubisoft has defied expectations, announcing a summer release with a specific date of August 30, as revealed in a recent trailer abundant in cutscenes, characters, and quintessential Star Wars action sequences.
The trailer, spanning approximately two-and-a-half minutes, showcases a plethora of captivating elements, including a diverse array of alien races, the unmistakable gravelly voice of a Mon Calamari, a villain with the eyebrow-raising name “Sliro,” iconic AT-STs, and even a cameo featuring Jabba the Hutt and Han Solo frozen in carbonite.
