The Shillong Teer lottery is a game of chance in which tickets can be purchased for a fee ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 100. Monday through Sunday, sales begin at 10 a.m., and the store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Each player must guess the number of arrows shot by 50 archers in the first and second rounds at Shillong’s Polo Ground in two minutes, with a maximum of 30 and 20 arrows respectively in each round. As of now, Meghalaya has about 5,000 ticket counters that are located in 11 districts across the state.
It is the player’s responsibility to guess the last two digits of the number of arrows that have been shot and the target has been hit within a single day. It is the individual who predicts the correct number of the lottery that is the winner of the lottery. On every day, there are 50 archers who shoot 30 arrows in the first round, and only 20 arrows in the second round.
